Lovely Times

Wow. I definitely have enjoyed myself this summer. Went to Madrid for six weeks to study spanish and learned so much about myself and totally engulfed the experience. I was able to visit a few places and loved them all!! After my six weeks I went on to Ibiza, Paris and Rome. They were so interesting in different ways.
Ibiza (left) was I believe the most beautiful place I have ever been!! The terrain was so different. I felt as if I was experiencing all four seasons, just looking at the trees and life on the island. Driving and renting a car is the best way to go... then just go and EXPLORE. One night we went to find a light house and ended up only finding the most beautiful scenery I had ever seen... I was speechless. My friends were as well, we just had to jump out of the car and take pictures of the sun setting on the horizon and the gorgeous private beach that lie thousands of feet below. I miss it already... but I knew I would be back...maybe one day for a honeymoon or somethinggg. =)

Wooohooo!! Studying here in Madrid has been amazing! I have met so many awesome people! These are two of them! Their names are Ally (left) and Veronica (right). We basically spend every waking moment and I love it! I have a homestay with a Senora and they live together in an apartment in the center of MADRID (SOL)! I sleep at their place all the time and I think my Senora is starting to think I have a serious boyfriend here lol
The NYU program in Madrid is awesome and the people are so real...which is a breath of fresh air for me!
Really excited to go home and see the fam and friends. I miss them a lot. But all is great here... and so excited to go to Paris and Roma with Veronica!!

Lakers Parade Parallel

So today was the Lakers Parade and no thousands of Angelenos came out to support and catch a glimpse at the CHAMPS!
Living in Los Angeles really helps to connect me to our Los Angeles teams, as an abundance of Lakers flags fly from car windows and outfits scream of purple and gold Laker pride!

After taking the Celtics in the 7th game, the city of the Angels had a parade to look forward to!!
Streets crowded this morning as I made my way downtown to Little Tokyo, where I intern for GEREN FORD!
I usually make my way there in about an hour, but today was a little different, as it took me 75 grueling minutes to arrive late for my internship!
I truly think that all of LA was down there, waiting for the Lakers to arrive-- this quickly reminded me of my 2009 New Year's Eve at Times Square! I waited for 8 hours in the freezing cold-the coldest New Years they had had in 50 years!

While at the parade, fans complained of there not being enough restrooms available near the Staples Center!
While waiting for the ball to drop, we had a similar issue--We were not allowed to leave our spot the entire time, even to use the restroom, or we lose our spot--the spot we arrived 8 hours previous to hold!!

OUR ONLY OPTION--run to New York's finest, NYPD and plead to allow us back into our section after running to a nearby YUM YUM DONUTS, only to wait in a line of people all doing the same thing!
Thank GOD I had Amber and Tracey there to get through it with me!!
So to the Angelenos who complained today--at least the weather was PERFECT!!

Vacation!

Costa Rica was amazing! My whole family went!
I have two sisters that I absolutely love and could not live without! We all go to college away from each other, so having quality time together is vary rare these days! They are basically my soul mates, along with my best friends from home that I consider sisters!

So how do you know when someone is close enough to consider a sister....when you don't have to talk or call and when you finally DO see each other, everything is as it was left!

I am fortunate to have many girlfriends that I can say are like that, including my sisters! I am 20 years old and I know for a fact who my bridesmaids will be, and that is crazyy!

Anywayss.. Costa Rica was awesome! i need to put up pictures but I loved horse back riding the most! we got to run the horse all the way down the beach and these horses were FAST! We also did the zipline tours, which was fun!

I would definitely say go for COSTA RICA! A lottt to see!

1. Arenal volacano.
2. white faced monkeys!
3. manuel antonio playa and tour
4. DOOO visit Villa Caleta!!!! BEAUTIFUL ARIAL VIEW OF EVERYTHING!! AMAZZINNNGGG VIEW/MUSIC/FOOD IS okay

This last week reminded me how important family is and all its' beauty!
